              TWA FLIGHT #800: OBSTRUCTION OF INJUSTICE-

        Is the U.S. government guilty of obstruction of justice 
               in the investigation of TWA Flight #800?

        "An  American spy satellite positioned over the Brookhaven 
     National Laboratory on Long Island is said  to  have  yielded 
     important  information  about  the  crash.  A law enforcement 
     official told the New York Post that the  satellite  pictures 
     show  an  object racing up to the TWA jet,  passing it,  then 
     changing course and smashing into it."

   Recently  new,  hard  evidence  became  public  which  has  brought 
international attention to the theory that TWA Flight #800 was brought 
down  by a surface-to-air-missile (SAM).  Specifically,  radar images, 
reportedly of TWA Flight #800 around the time it crashed,  show a blip 
moving toward and then into the plane after which the plane disappears

this  radar evidence,  laboratory analysis of reddish residue found on 
several seat backs from the wreckage of  TWA  Flight  #800  shows  the 
residue is "consistent with solid missile fuel".  
    The remarkable part of this newest evidence that TWA  Flight  #800 
was  the  victim  of  a  missile  attack  is  that the world was never 
supposed to known about it.  The radar images were drawn from  a  copy 
of  a  Federal  Aviation  Administration  radar  tape given to Richard 
Russell,  a retired United  Airlines  pilot.  Mr.  Russell,  in  turn, 
forwarded the images to a little known Riverside, California newspaper 
and  an even lesser known magazine in Paris,  France both of which ran 
stories that were picked-up by the major  global  news  organizations.  
Likewise, the seat fabric that had possible missile fuel residue on it 
came  from  James  Sanders,  a  retired police officer and writer with 
investigative experience  who  is  married  to  a  TWA  employee.  Mr.  
Sanders received the fabric from crash investigation sources,  had the 
samples privately tested and then informed media sources  of  what  he 
learned.

    So what is Richard Russell and James Sanders' reward for  bringing 
such incredibly important evidence to the world's attention?  

    In a rather bitter twist of irony,   the government is now seeking 
to prosecute them for "obstruction of justice"!-

    However,  isn't  it  the  U.S.  government  that  is  engaging  in 
"obstruction of justice" in the investigation of TWA Flight #800?  The 
FBI and NTSB have gone out of their way to keep to themselves any  and 
all  evidence  that  might  reveal what caused the crash of TWA Flight

point.]  Meanwhile,  the  world  is  told that TWA Flight 800 was most 
likely the victim of mechanical failure by the NTSB, even though there 
is  hundreds of eyewitnesses,  some extremely credible,  that say they 
saw a missile rise into the sky where they witnessed the explosion  of 
the plane.  Thus, the evidence of what caused TWA Flight #800 to crash 
is,  by definition, being covered-up by the U.S.  government while the 
world is told the crash was caused in a manner  that  is  inconsistent 
with what the majority of eyewitnesses report.  Is not such deceit the 
epitome  of  "obstruction  of justice" on a vast scale?  Yet those who 
manage to ferret tid-bits of evidence of the truth are  the  ones  who 
are  charged  with obstruction of justice.  The reality is that people 
like Richard Russell and  James  Sanders  are  guilty  of  obstructing 
injustice  and it is those elements of the U.S.  government engaged in 
covering-up the truth who should be brought to justice.
